If, when trying to install any CYPE programs on computer, your operating system emits an error message indicating the application was unable to start correctly, follow the steps shown below:

• Go to the following Microsoft webpage:
  https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=26347
  
• On the Microsoft page, select the corresponding language and click on “Download”
• Download one of the following files:
  
  
  • vcredist_x64.EXE
    If you have downloaded the 64-bit CYPE program version
  • vcredist_x86.EXE
    If you have downloaded the 32-bit CYPE program version
• Execute the downloaded file
• Restart your computer
• Install the CYPE programs
