Can CYPE jobs be published on Internet? |
Yes. As of the 2010.g version, a compressed job with “cyp” format (CYPE’s own format) can be shared on Internet. The job will be published on a server and will be accessible to third parties via a private link. Therefore, only those who know the link will have access to the job. To use this option, simply select a job from the File manager menu (File > File manager) of any CYPE program and click on the Share button. Users can include a title and comment on the job which is going to be shared. Another dialogue box will then appear indicating the link of the location of the job, which can be copied by selecting it with the left mouse button to then forward it to whomever the user wishes for it to be seen by. This dialogue box also allows the user to open the page where the job has been published. Within the usr\cype\cypecad directory, the links.txt file is generated, which contains the links of all the jobs that have been published. This file also contains the links of the published screenshots which are captured using the F12 key of the keyboard. How to capture screenshots is described in another of our FAQs: Can CYPE screenshots be published on Internet? |
