Drawings. Some secondary beams do not appear in the beams drawing |
Secondary beam connections are displayed hatched when editing the beam reinforcement on screen and on the beam reinforcement drawings when the secondary beam has a relative maximum negative moment. Imagine a frame with several secondary beam connections. The frame will probably be supported by these secondary beams; the support distribution depending on the relative stiffness of all these beams. Hence, the bending moment diagram will appear lifted in those secondary beams which tend to support the frame being studied and will descend where the frame supports one of these secondary beams. If a secondary beam connection coincides with a maximum negative relative moment, then it will be drawn. Additionally, the program will cut the top and bottom assembly or pass-through reinforcement at the connection. |
