| A job can be sent using the File manager, located in the File menu of all CYPE programs. Here, a window is displayed where jobs can be selected. Carry out the following steps:
Within the File manager window, find the job to be sent and mark it with a single click of the mouse. Bear in mind that jobs can be saved in any directory or unit within the system, and not only in the default directory: CYPE Ingenieros\ Projects.Click on Send, located at the top of the File manager window, and the Sending options dialogue box will appear containing the options to send the job or compress the job.
Select Send Job by Electronic Mail if you wish to send it from the same computer. Click on Accept and the sending process will begin. A series of dialogue boxes where the recipient of the e-mail can be configured and selected will appear. Our program will automatically open the default software program, displaying a new message to the selected recipient with the compressed job attached, where the user can write his/her comments.Select Only Compress Job if you wish to send it from another computer. Click on Accept and the compression process will begin resulting in a file with the name of the job and extension .cyp, which contains the selected job. It is placed in the directory where the job was created, although the user can modify the directory in the Sending options window. In any case, the program will inform users of the name of the directory where the compressed job is located. This file has to be attached to the e-mail sent from the other computer, together with the text providing details on the issue being consulted. Using either method, if the selected job has been analysed, two further options will be visible in the Sending Options window: Include associated files and Include safety copies.
If the Include associated files option is activated, the compressed file includes the results from the analysis, which will substantially increase its size, and consequently, the sending process may be slower. If you think the results of the analysis are essential to resolve your query, activate the Include associated files box. Otherwise, do not activate the box and the file to send will be smaller. If we find the job has to be analysed to resolve the query, we will analyse the job.   If the Include safety copies option is activated, any safety copies of the job generated by the program will also be attached. Please remember to identify yourself with your name, name of the program license owner and user license number, when sending an e-mail to CYPE (see contact details). |
